The Super dApp Showdown, launched in August 2024, extended an open invitation to Web3 developers to conceptualize and deploy Super dApps on Supra’s robust L1 network. This initiative sought to push the envelope of what’s possible in the blockchain space.

Over a span of three months, participating developers had the opportunity to exhibit the remarkable capabilities of Supra’s cutting-edge technology. This technology includes native oracles, decentralized Verifiable Random Function (dVRF), sophisticated automation solutions, and cross-chain bridges, highlighting the versatility and power of Supra’s network.

The judging panel, which included experts from both Supra and the reality TV show Killer Whales, meticulously assessed the projects based on criteria such as innovation, scalability, and practical real-world applications.

One standout winner, Pixudi, captivated audiences with a Web3 board game that ingeniously combines the nostalgia of classic games like Dungeons & Dragons with contemporary blockchain mechanics. This fusion of past and present gaming elements creates a unique interactive experience.

Evo emerged as another victorious project, presenting a Web3 trading terminal tailored for professional traders. This platform utilizes Supra’s real-time data feeds and automated trading bots to enhance trading efficiency and effectiveness.

Crystara, a gamified NFT marketplace featuring blind box mechanics, demonstrated the practical use of Supra’s dVRF technology, offering users a dynamic and engaging platform for NFT trading.

Atmos, Supra’s native DeFi liquidity hub, offered fresh insights into token creation and trading concepts, while Superlane, a decentralized money market protocol, revealed new possibilities for lending and borrowing through parallel execution and seamless composability.

The final winner, SkinFi, pioneered as the first token-powered skin trading platform for on-chain and off-chain game assets, attracting a vibrant community of Counter-Strike 2 players eager to explore in-game cosmetic trading.

Super dApp Showdown: Rewarding Innovation

Each winning project will receive a share of a substantial $100 million fund in recognition of their innovative contributions. Additionally, they will benefit from extensive marketing and promotional support to elevate their visibility and impact.

Beyond financial rewards, winners will gain exposure on Supra’s media channels and participate in Project Blast Off 2. This new campaign aims to motivate over half a million users on Supra to engage in on-chain tasks and earn rewards, further amplifying the reach of these groundbreaking projects.

Moreover, the winners will catch the attention of the Killer Whales production team, with the potential of being featured on the popular reality TV show, providing an unprecedented platform to showcase their innovations to a broader audience.
