Polygon to Buy $5M of Servers With Computer Chips Devoted to Zero-Knowledge Cryptography

Polygon co-founder Mihailo Bjelic announced in a recent press release that Fabric’s VPUs have the potential to significantly speed up the adoption of zero-knowledge technology. According to Bjelic, this advancement could shorten the timeline from three to five years down to just six to 12 months.

With Fabric’s VPUs, Polygon Labs will be able to implement this cutting-edge technology, leading to the rapid development of the AggLayer. This will enable the creation of real-time, cost-effective proofs that were previously believed to be several years away. Additionally, the proving costs associated with this technology will be much lower than initially anticipated in the near future.

This breakthrough has the potential to revolutionize the way we think about zero-knowledge technology and could pave the way for its widespread adoption across various industries.
