Bitcoin experienced a slight dip of around 1% to $57,600 earlier in the day following the news of software company MicroStrategy’s acquisition of 18,300 BTC for $1.1 billion. However, the leading cryptocurrency quickly recovered from the initial drop and surged later in the trading session, gaining 2.2% over the past 24 hours to reach $59,700.
