EigenLayer to Distribute 86M Tokens to Stakers, Node Operators
EIGEN, a new blockchain project, has revealed its token distribution plans. Stakers and node operators are set to receive 70 million tokens, while ecosystem partners and the EigenLayer community will receive 10 million and 6 million tokens, respectively. The distribution is scheduled to begin on September 17th.
This distribution amounts to approximately 5% of EIGEN’s total token supply, which will be 1.67 billion tokens at the project’s launch. This allocation is a significant portion of the total tokens available, allowing for widespread participation in the project’s ecosystem.
